THE NANTUCKET SHELL RECYCLING PROGRAM!
We helped create the Nantucket Shell Recycling program with the Natural Resources Department in 2014. Now, we recycle approximately 16,000 pounds of oyster shells per year, sending them back into the waters around Nantucket, helping to rebuild the reefs with a total of 80,000 pounds from CRU to date.
To support this effort, we are introducing our ‘Shucking Amazing” 100% cashmere sweater from Lingua Franca for $390.
For every sweater sold, we will donate $50 to this program.
